NATURE CYCLES
Nature Cycles project is centred around the compositions of George Dumitru, inspired by circular shapes, cyclical movement, and the organic motion of bird flocks. These works have a meditative, repetitive nature which brings a different perception of time to the listener. This could be seen as an invitation to see the world from a different perspective in the current situation, an invitation to slow down.
AMSTERDAM REALBOOK
A collection of sketch-like scores that open different doors to improvisation: fun, groovy, also beautiful, sometimes extravagant, and usually on the edge. These are compositions by the legendary names of ICP Orchestra: Misha Mengelberg, Ab Baars, Michael Moore, Guus Janssen, and more. This is an exploration of the world of instant composition, embracing the unknown and maybe discovering a whole new way of expression.
